Dr. Emmitt T. Williams III

 

A young, gifted, and anointed man chosen by God to serve named Emmitt T. Williams, III.

He is a gift that was given to the late Mr. Emmitt Williams Jr. and Mrs. Aggie Morris- Williams on April 26, 1985. Emmitt grew up on the Westside of Chicago, IL. and is the youngest of twenty-one siblings. He has always been characterized as the " Peculiar Child". The Lord called and anointed him in his mother's womb and at the age of nine, God began to manifest the call on his life. Emmitt accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ while attending the Universal Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Willie E. Holland. It was through the leadership and nurturing of the Holyghost and Pastor Holland in which Emmitt begun to understand this great responsibility of carrying the word of God. Sunday March 31, 1995 at the Universal Missionary Baptist Church located on the Westside of Chicago. Reverend Emmitt T. Williams, III preached his first of many sermons!
 
Since the oil has been poured upon him, all whom has heard him knows that God has laid His hands on him. Reverend Williams, III has been blessed to have major doors open to him across the country allowing him the ability to preach and conduct revivals. He was licensed in April of 1995 and ordained in June of 1999 to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the Late Pastor Willie E. Holland. This humble man of God was favored to connect with the late Reverend Willie Drake which this meeting began the assignment to lead God's people. After much fasting and prayer, Reverend Williams, III accepted the position as Pastor of Pauline Christian Community Church in Chicago Heights IL. in September of 2005. The Lord saw the need to reposition Pastor Williams, III and move him towards his next assignment.
 
The year of 2008, God sent him to lead and Pastor the New Tibera Missionary Baptist Church which a few former members later decided to organize The Renewed Faith Missionary Baptist Church in 2010 under his leadership on the Westside of Chicago. The Lord opened doors and more opportunities to bless his ministry!
 
A new assignment was given to Pastor Emmitt T. Williams, III after he was unanimously elected Pastor of the Historical Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in the city of Evanston IL. on January 10, 2011. Pastor Williams, III has served in many capacities not to mention as a community leader, counselor, activist, friend, and a well-respected preacher in this nation.
 
By the grace of God, he attended and graduated from Anton Dvorak Elementary School and Curie High School in 2003. Pastor Williams, III received his bachelor’s degree in computer Networking from Westwood College of Technology in 2007. Then he later received his master’s degree in biblical counseling in July of 2014 and now a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Education on July 23, 2017 from Midwest Theological Seminary.
 
Dr. Emmitt T. Williams, III met and married the former Miss Jacqueline Brewer and is the father of five beautiful daughters. Peggy, Eva, and Emmi Taylor Williams (deceased) Janiyah and Jada. Dr. Williams, III is known for his motto: " Much Prayer, Much Power, Little Prayer, Little Power, No Prayer, No Power; We walk by FAITH and not by sight" in which he believes and lives by every day! The words and prospective of Dr. Williams' III " My heart's desire is to remain a humble servant and obey the voice of God!"
